The Call to Watch

In Ezekiel 33:7-8 we read, "So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."

This statement is directed to all those who know the Word of God and the Gospel.  The charge is given to warn people of the danger associated with ignoring God's overtures in providing for the salvation of mankind from sin and from the coming destruction.  The time of the end is at hand, ""Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. (Acts 3:19-21 NAS)

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed (Rom. 13:11 KJV)

Now is the time to turn your life around and return to Jesus, the one through whom Heaven has made the restoration of fallen mankind possible.  Repent and be converted. Turn to Jesus and live.
